A Spring Fling

What an amazing time of year!  I love Easter and the spring because it represents life on so many different levels.  It's almost like the whole world is coming alive and bursting forth with new energy and surprises.  In the truest sense of the word today represents rebirth regardless of what faith you may or may not be.  When I look around at all the new life springing up I get a picture of the Earth itself telling us that she loves us and is giving us the best present that she knows how to give - herself in all of her most spectacular glory.

I like to stop and ponder about how perfect the timing is that spring follows winter.  Winter is the time to reflect, assess and plan where as spring is the time to launch those carefully thought out plans.  For years Sally Edwards has asked people - "When is the last time you did something for the first time?"  Right now I am asking YOU when was the last time you did something for the first time?  In fact when was the last time you really challenged yourself?

If you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that you could not fail what would you do?  Is there a dream in your heart that keeps gently asking for attention?  Now is the time for you to pay attention after all you never know it might just be the best thing that ever happened to you.  I challenge you to do something that you have never done before, it's okay if it scares you - it's not okay if you let the fear stop you.  I am not suggesting that you do anything life threatening but I am suggesting that it is all too easy to become complacent in our lives and it's okay to shake things up.

So go on out there and have yourself your very own Spring Fling - go ahead and bloom into the flower that you really are, show the world how spectacular you are.  After all there really is only one of you and you are AMAZING!!!!
